Fantastic drinks. Charcuterie board was delicious. Service was excellent. Area got prettier as it got dark. Really a nice bar to be at!

This is a great hotel bar. Typical bar food and drinks with an amazing view. If you sit outside, there are heaters and a large fireplace. The staff is wonderful.

A friend and I visited the Broadmoor to check out the grounds and the Christmas decorations. It was SO crowded so we were pleasantly surprised when we didn't have to wait for a place at The Hotel Bar. I had an Old Fashioned and it was delicious - muddled fruit and all. There were complimentary apps (seasoned pistachios and corn chips). The pistachios were very flavorful and spicy. The corn chips reminded me of a frito. But way better, like a fancy frito. We ordered the Bruschetta for a quick snack and it was great. The bread was kind of oily but the tomatoes were very fresh so it balanced out. Original Yelp review 12/25/2018

My parents and I stopped in for an afternoon drink and snack while touring around Colorado Springs. We sat by the wall of windows on this warm April afternoon overlooking the lake and hotel grounds. The breeze was welcomed as we sipped on our whisky. We saw the pretzel on the menu and absolutely had to have one! We had the best time enjoying each other's company in this very relaxed setting taking in the hotel surrounds. I will be back at some point; in the meantime, you should definitely stop in for a drink and a relaxing time!

I am so impressed with this institution! We have lived here five years and have never made a visit until today. The architecture leading up to The Bar was exquisite. The bar itself had such a great ambiance, and it reminded me of the Titanic. I got a cosmo mocktail that was so good. The burger and the Parmesan fries were so rich and delicious. You have to get the tiramisu! Needless to say, we will be back.

The patio view is beautiful. My wife and I got hooked on the Pan Seared Salmon Greek Salad and ate it for lunch 3 days in a row. The craft beer on tap included a very good hazy IPA, and my wife enjoyed the mojito.

Located within the Broadmoor property, the bar offered an endless selection of beverages as well as small and large plates and desserts. Plan ahead though, they say the wait for a table is about 1-1.5 hours. We were told an hour, but pleasantly, we only waited 22 minutes. The decor was rustic old timey. It looked and felt like an exclusive men’s lodge or club. The staff were friendly and efficient. They brought nuts and snacks to our table once seated, which was exactly what I needed with my “Improved Whiskey Cocktail.” We ordered carne asada fries and eagle’s nest ranch wagyu sliders. The carne asada were tender and flavorful. The fries were seasoned and all the condiments just perfected the dish. The wagyu sliders were perfectly cooked and juicy. We paid 200+ (with tip) and it was the best meal we had at the Broadmoor.

If you are visiting the Broadmoor, the hotel bar is an absolute must-visit. The hospitality here is incredible, and our time here was a total highlight of the trip. Shabnam took excellent care of us and was a fantastic server throughout our visit. She was super attentive and on top of everything. Mary also stopped by the table to check on us and ensure our experience was perfect. She was so warm, wonderful, and had the most welcoming smile. And if you go, you absolutely have to order a cocktail from Ryan behind the bar. I'd been told ahead of time that his amaretto sours were legendary, but they honestly blew my mind. They are hands-down the best we have ever had, to the point where I'm genuinely worried no other bar is going to live up to his from now on! Highly recommend stopping in for the amazing atmosphere, but it’s really this incredible team that makes the place so special.

FOOD: The cocktails are superb. They have a food menu, which we've tried on previous visits and is generally quite good, but one is here for the drinks. SERVICE: The Broadmoor prides itself on top-notch service, and our visit didn't disappoint. From the valets to the doormen to the person who seated us to the person who took our orders and delivered them, everyone was professional and seemed genuinely glad to serve. ATMOSPHERE: Truly a delightful and comfortable place to have a drink and enjoy the breeze, the clouds, the mountains, the views of the resort. Both inside and outside seating. Not a problem today, but in the summer the window seats inside can get pretty warm. NET-NET: Not a cheap experience by any means, but I felt we got value for the dollar. A place we've visited before and will make a point to visit again.

Came here on a business trip. And I wanted to say that I have never had to wait for a seat at a bar in a hotel ever before. This place was absolutely slammed packed from about 1 o’clock until 5 o’clock when I passed by it again. They definitely need to make the bar larger or open another one on the grounds. With that said the interior is immaculate. Gorgeous beyond description and they have one of the most impressive high-end alcohol list. I’ve seen in a place. The service is impeccable in our waiter. Henry was just wonderful. Even for being very busy he was attentive, but not overbearing. I knew the answers to all of our questions. This place is going to be expensive. We spent about $110 for four drinks and one appetizer. So get ready! But you come here for the quality and the excellent service not for the prices. I’m going to go back and get some scotch as well as a cigar. Great place definitely need to try the pretzels.
